Due to popular demand, we are providing the UAC Partners URL list. We will soon add additional columns, including the partner’s name, mission, website, contact information, number of employees, number of locations, and more. Many people have requested the option to print or export the UAC partner information into PDF, Excel, or CSV files. We will add that functionality.
UAC’s billing for partners includes the following fees: “UAC’s fee (10%), Insurance costs (1.4%), and Audit (1%) in the budget.” I believe the CEG recipients paid a whopping 30% UAC fee. These costs are calculated based on the total funding requested. If grant requests include funding for staff, an additional fringe benefit cost applies: 27% for full-time staff and 16% for part-time staff. UAC did not ensure that the full-time staff and part-time staff workers were paid.
There are several excellent fiscal sponsorship organizations available. One of them charges a fee of 6% and currently supports over 700 nonprofits. Donors can give through this organization’s donation webpage by selecting the specific program partner nonprofit rather than contributing to a general fund. Additionally, this organization offers 24/7 support and provides live access to its financial information.
We are requesting from UAC the complete list of the “independent contractors” UAC forces program Partners to use. If I had known UAC’s preferred IT vendor is a racist misogynist con man who owes the IRS around $300K with a ton of judgments across states, I certainly would not have done business with UAC.

Both UAC partners and the public need to be informed about the status of UAC’s fiscal sponsorship management, particularly regarding the protection of grant money and the delayed payments to vendors.
The Hierarchy is the Urban Affairs Coalition’s 2023 990 #1 Top Paid Independent Contractor. I guess UAC included the money he embezzled and the that hours he was paid for that nobody worked.
UAC is teaching nonprofit vendors nationwide a master class in how to pull off the perfect white-collar crime. Arun Prabhakaran and Sharmain Matlock-Turner claim zero responsibility. What do they do? Nice bonuses!
It’s well-known that several disgruntled partner organizations have departed, and many partners are unhappy with the situation. Maybe those are the “missing 21” partners**?
Every individual deserves to be compensated for their work! We must hold UAC accountable. White-collar crime should not be tolerated, and timesheet fraud is unacceptable. If UAC has biases against Caucasians or assertive women, they should refrain from engaging with them. It’s that simple.
UAC needs a help desk ticketing system just for Partner complaints about NetSuite and shitty support in general. Their care@uac.org email complaint method is a 1900s joke.
We don’t understand why UAC pays for the staff of nonprofits that have their own EIN, like Inner Strength Education 47-5017977, and software for the Jesus indoctrination joint, Culture Changing Christians, 88-2376466. Kevin Satterthwaite walked on H2O when Bettinger was not paid for ISE invoices, getting Bettinger paid fast in the name of “good business.” A woman not being paid is laughed at and ignored. Okay.
